What is Fox Home Health Vocational Training?
 

Fox Home Health Vocational Training is a vocational school that provides courses for individuals looking to become Home Health Aides (HHA) and Nursing Assistants (CNA's), and provides other courses for caregivers.

How much does it cost to enroll in the training programs?

2023 Course Cost List:

 $ 2250.00  NAT

 $ 1875.00  HHA 120hr

 $   875.00  HHA 40hr

 $  500.00  Caregiver Training- Basic

 $   125.00  BLS/CPR/First Aid (In person ONLY)

 $     15.00  CEU 1 unit

NOTE: We gladly accept payment plans spread out over time. Also, the Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) program can be fully paid for by the Healthcare Career Pathways, and the HHA program can be paid through the Caring 4 Cal grant. For all other programs, including the caregiving program, tuition and fees can be covered by Fox Pacific Academy with a qualifying scholarship application / sliding scale.

What kind of certifications will I receive after completing the training programs?

 

Graduates of the programs will receive certifications such as Home Health Aide (HHA), BLS Certification, and Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA).

For Nurse Assistant training upon graduation you will need to take the state exam and pass to become certified in the state of CA. (we will help you achieve this with ease)

What do I need to complete before starting courses?

We will work with you to ensure that everything, from registration to course completion, is taken care of. To start the process, please complete the registration form on our HOME page. From there, we will work together to review the financial component and secure funding for your courses. Then, we will assist you in obtaining the necessary documentation and guide you through the process of getting your physical and DOJ background check completed.

Is there any reason I wont be accepted into the courses?

The HHA and NAT are certified courses through the dept of public health so a background check is nessary in order to complete the certification process. If you feel you will not pass the background check for these courses it is encouraged to reach out to us and we will guide you in working with the state. 

Other places require vaccines, what vaccines do I need in order to participate?

 

We require a recent TB test and covid-19 vaccination  because part of your training will include a clinical component this is an agreement between our school and the medical facility.
